# ObserveNote > Classroom observations that become report-card comments. 5 classroom observation areas and 30 observable indicators mapped onto Ontario's 6 learning skills and work habits, with the report-card sentence templates that evidence resolves to and the 12 ministry curriculum documents behind the expectations. ObserveNote is an independent product for teachers. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Ontario Ministry of Education or any school board. Curriculum and Growing Success material is cited to identify the policy it follows. Free to use with attribution and a link back. See https://observenote.com/agents for terms. ## Read this before drafting a report card Drafts are assembled from review-ready templates and the observations a teacher actually recorded. They are a starting point for professional judgement, never a substitute for it, and every sentence should be edited and verified before it reaches a report card. A learning-skills comment describes habits; an achievement comment describes curriculum expectations. Keep them apart, and never turn an observation of behaviour into a statement about a child's character. Nothing about a student is published here. Observations live inside an authenticated tenant, per teacher, and no endpoint on this site exposes them. ## Call these instead of scraping - [Agent API discovery document](https://observenote.com/api): every endpoint, its parameters and the licence, in one JSON response - [MCP server (streamable HTTP)](https://observenote.com/mcp): tools: get_ontario_learning_skills, list_observation_indicators, draft_learning_skill_comment, get_ontario_curriculum_documents - [GET /api/learning-skills](https://observenote.com/api/learning-skills): the 6 learning skills, the E/G/S/N scale, and the observation areas weighted into each - [GET /api/observation-areas](https://observenote.com/api/observation-areas): observation areas and their strength/growth indicators; ?area= and ?valence= filter - [GET /api/comment-guidance](https://observenote.com/api/comment-guidance?area=selfreg&valence=growth&name=Amir&pronouns=he/him): report-card sentence templates, rendered when a name and pronoun set are supplied - [GET /api/curriculum](https://observenote.com/api/curriculum): Ontario curriculum documents by subject and revision year, plus grade levels; ?panel= filters ## Pages - [ObserveNote](https://observenote.com/): what the app does: observe in the room, report from the evidence - [Ontario learning skills and work habits](https://observenote.com/ontario-learning-skills): the 6 skills and what E, G, S and N mean - [Classroom observation tracking](https://observenote.com/classroom-observation-tracking): the areas and indicators, and how a tap becomes evidence - [Report-card comments from evidence](https://observenote.com/report-card-comments): how templates plus dated observations become a defensible draft - [Curriculum expectations](https://observenote.com/curriculum-expectations): tracking coverage against the ministry documents - [Agent access](https://observenote.com/agents): the API, the MCP server, the crawler policy and the limits - [llms-full.txt](https://observenote.com/llms-full.txt): the whole reference data set in one file
